The Ceduna Cup

  • Denial Bay Jetty Markets: Local art, craft and produce market held at the car park of the Denial Bay Jetty twice annually in the months of May and October on a Sunday from 10am until 2pm. Features home baked goods, clothing, jewellery, plants, artwork and hand made goods, as well as live music and lunch available. 

 

  • Annual Oysterfests: Be sure not to miss Australia's largest oyster festival! With a variety of entertainment including comedians, magicians, celebrity chefs and a variety of local acts who take to the stage. There are loads of fun attractions for the kids. Rides, food stalls, music workshops to name just a few. If that doesn't excite you enough how about looking up to the sky to watch Australia's 13 times aerobatic champion, Chris Sperou perform some thrill seeking flying acts that will get your heart pounding. Make sure you stay right to the end and enjoy the closing fireworks display to wrap up a spectacular festival on Ceduna's foreshore. This annual festival is held over the SA Labour Day weekend.
 
  • Annual Crab Comp: this competition is held annually in Ceduna during the crab season. The 10 week competition starts on 1 January and wraps up on Easter Monday. With more than $10,000 in prizes you should definitely throw your crab nets in and see what you catch! Registration forms can be located at various businesses in Ceduna and can be dropped off anytime at the BP Highway One where you will also be required to go with your biggest catch to get the official measurements recorded. Be sure not to miss this fantastic opportunity. You never know where Ceduna's biggest crab may be hiding!

 

  • Ceduna Cup: Don't miss the glitz and glamour at Ceduna's racetrack in January each year. With plenty of entertainment for the kids, fine dining and live music, it's a day many look forward to. For more information, please contact reception.
