We have two amenity blocks with toilets and showers and laundry facilities with washers and dryers. At the northern end of the park the amenity block has toilet and shower facilities for mobility impaired persons, a well-equipped camp kitchen with sink, oven, hotplates, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The park has a total of 5 gas operated BBQs for guests to use.
Our park has a playground and provides a safe place for children to ride their bikes. We are close to safe swimming beaches, great fishing spots and across the road you can launch a kayak or explore the rock pools. The Kanamaluka Trail is opposite the park and is great for bicycle riders and walkers. Follow the trail south into George Town or head north to the light house or for lunch or coffee at the Coxwains Cottage Café in the Low Head Pilot Station precinct.
In the evenings guests can cook a BBQ, sit back, relax and watch the sunset from their site or cottage balcony with a local beer or wine in hand. Or go on the nightly penguin tour which is a convenient 5-minute drive away.
