Experience the quintessential Tasmanian beachfront camping summer family holiday! This place is a slice of paradise. Nestled in behind the sand dunes at Buttons Beach, is our popular summer-only campground at Butttons Creek, located less than 400 metres from our main park.
Imagine waking to the sound of the waves on the sand and going for the morning walk along the miles of beachfront. The main park at BIG4 Ulverstone Holiday Park and the Ulverstone Surf Lifesaving Club are less than 400 metres away and you are welcome to use the facilities, like the Camp Kitchen and Jumping Pillow at our main park.
This summer camping area has both powered and unpowered sites suitable for caravans and tents. Facilities include a small older-style amenities block, laundry and clothesline. Pets are allowed on your site with prior approval when booking. Pet owners must observe the same rules as main park: on lead at all time, well behaved, cleaned up after and not in any buildings.
Fire pots are also permitted these must be raised off the ground and coals are not to fall onto the ground.
Bring your family and friends, you can enjoy a little extra space to make your own area with your fire pot in the middle for your group to enjoy of an evening.
Dates for this campground do vary each year, but are generally from just before Christmas through to late January as well as over the Easter school holidays, depending on bookings.
